Did you know that?
Yeah, you probably did.
Today is the day, that like a million years ago, was suppose to be the day we broke ground. We may not have technically 'broke ground', but so much has happened today.
I received a phone call from the home owners today and we are meeting them tomorrow at their lawyers office to sign the paperwork that will officially make us the owners of a ninety year old farmhouse that has so much potential it makes me want to cry.
On top of that, I came home from book club today and found the Hubs mowing the grass around the building site. He has cleaned it all up and I was able to drive out to the new location for the first time, following the path where the new road will be.
So I drove out, following the sound of the tractor and pull behind mower. As I came into the opening, I saw the Hubs on the open cab tractor mowing the area down.
Seriously, I was overcome.
I wish I had had a camera with me.
I wish I were better with words.
It was the stuff novels are made of, real deal, Nicholas Sparks could have made you cry if he was describing it, novel.
So you'll just have to take my word for it.
It was an amazing site to behold.
I am blessed beyond measure. I am thrilled to begin this journey and to create the home that my babies will grow up in.
Thanks again for coming along, it will surely be an amazing ride!
